Ahoy! My name is Cerise, and I'm the creator of Living Constellations (though like anything in life, it wouldn't be much without the help of some good friends <3). Living Constellations is a sci-fi tabletop RPG set in an alternative timeline, one where the Cuban Missile Crisis went hot and started a completely different chain of events. Taking place in the year 2393, humanity has spread across the stars, met alien races, and terraformed a massive frontier. Limited to roughly 1975 to 1985 technology, players must contend with not only the chaos of this barely-settled wilderness, but with the limitations of things like pay phones, fax machines, and 5.25" floppy disks.

As for who I am and why I made this, as mentioned before my name is Cerise (she/her). To keep it short, I've found this era and technological aesthetic to be vividly interesting all my life, and I've always loved science fiction. For more than a decade, I've struggled to find a TTRPG ruleset that fits exactly what I want out of a game, and after years of building little homebrews and custom settings, I decided to make my own from the ground up.

Science fiction is a beautiful genre, especially when it's rooted in hope against all odds. It's something that has greatly helped me personally in my life, especially in struggles related to being queer and neurodivergent in modern society. That's what I wanted to embrace; and while I was at it, I worked in my love of retro technology.
